I have wagered on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
