I have wagered on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
