I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
