I have played millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
