I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
